New Workforcetrack version launched

As an indicator of our continuous developments, we have released new version of WorkforceTrack that came with new add-ons, changes and bugs being fixed. This release includes lots of requested features to help you manage your projects with more efficiency.

Add-ons:

Invoicing - users can add Project / Service based and Free form invoices, keep track of those invoices, their status, register payments. Send invoices by email or print out PDF version. Give access to their clients to view their invoices online. Check here

Expense Reports - All employees can add Expense Reports in user friendly form. Add multi currency expenses, attach receipts to each expense. Expense Report in PDF form can be emailed to manager or PDF form can be printed out any time. Check here

Project cost calculation - Allows managers to calculate employees' wage rate and client charge rate. Also workstream registrations have been added, tasks can be managed by grouping them into workstream. Check here

Resource workload reports - every day Project Managers and Department Leaders can receive an email alert with time entries of their project/department members.

Staff In/Out- Attendance tracking tool. A good way to see for what people had actually used their time during the day. The tool allows employees check In and Out at the beginning and at the end of the day. Check here

Changes:

* New look for a custom reports from the Dashboards section have been implemented
* Changes in the Timesheet section, now tasks are grouped by projects and clients, and for each project's "Week to Date" and "Month to Date" totals, daily actual and daily planned totals are given
* Improved and more user friendly interface
* Documents can now be stored in Google documents
* Calendars - users can now create project related or department related calendars.
* New interactive design for 360 Performance appraisal and full report can be exported in PDF form
* Users can change their credentials in the Settings>> User Credentials Section

Bugs/Fixes:

* Bugs with task status have been fixed.
* Bug with edit employee, edit department been fixed.
* Bug with leave request duration has been fixed.
* Bugs connected with predecessor and successor tasks and a lot more.

Summary of all updates, bug/fixes and a list of coming features on Workrorcetrack.

Welcome to the WorkforceTrack. Here we hope to bring you all the latest improvements, changes and updates to the system. The team have been working hard to improve the service to you and as part of our continuous efforts we have made the following improvements which we hope you will find useful and user friendly.
Earlier in the year we launched Version 2.0 beta of the system which is fully AJAX and web 2.0 complaints. It is being developed with one of the latest technologies in order to bring a great benefit to you - the user, as it will enable us to enhance and improve the system to a greater extent. We hope to introduce a wide range of new tools and features to WorkforceTrack to make using the system more intuitive, easy-to-use and efficient.
Before you continue with the message, we would like to grab your attention to one technical notice from your development team.

NOTE: All new improvements are being upgraded to the system every Sunday on a weekly basis, and you might experience 2-3 minutes of server downtime. In order to make sure that your browser is using the latest script file, we recommend you to refresh your browser (Ctrl+F5, Ctrl+R), or clear the browser temporary files and cache on Mondays. If you find that the page did not load for you or started functioning abnormally, you can again try to refresh your browser and get the fresh copy of the script file from the server. Feel free to contact our support team, if you experience any other technical problems.

1. Improved task management with advanced filtering options.
2. Timesheet management made easy for you to log your daily hours spent per task.

Performance Appraisal
Updates:
1. You can register all your employee’s at once with new multi-add form, which is easy-to-use, simple and will save your time.
2. Improved template management, you can create your own appraisal templates and use them for you own company.
3. Email notifications are sent each time a manager or an employee reviews the appraisal form.
4. Print-friendly PDF versions of your appraisals can be downloaded any time.

Latest news, updates, improvements made on WorkforceTrack

As part of our continuous efforts to improve our service to you, we have made a number of improvements to WorkforceTrack.

The first of these is that individual companies will now be able to upload their own logo to their profile to appear on all PDF’s. This applies to Performance Appraisals, Project task lists and timesheets. This gives a more personal feel to Workforce Track.

Another new addition is that companies can now add their holidays in Availability.

Updates

Linked in functions have now been added to Initiate Appraisal, this will enable the user to add their employees on the Initiate appraisal page.

Further improvements have been made to the Add Invoice function, an item description field has been added. Additionally now users can edit their billing address on Add Invoice page without opening the Clients section

These updates are intended to save time when using the system as more functions can be performed in the same place.

Bug Fixes

Profile section bug has been fixed. It was previously not allowing you to open the profile page.

Edit employee has been fixed. It was previously not allowing you to open the edit employee page.

Edit department has been fixed. It was not allowing the user to see the member list in the Department Leader drop down menu to change the Leaders name.

Edit task bug has been fixed. It was not allowing the user to save the changes; also the status change option has been added, users can now change the task status from the drop down menu.

We hope that you find these improvements a benefit and we will continue to update and improve the system for our users of Workforce Track.

Coming soon...

We are excited to announce that new simple Invoicing and Expenses tool will be available for you soon! By using this feature you will be able to raise simple invoices and your staff can file basic expense reports. From project hours to invoicing your clients, with expense reports and timesheet invoices from your contractors, you will be able to automate arduous manual processes and switch to real time user-friendly tools with a click of a button!

WorkforceTrack Beta v.1.2.320 released

As an indicator of our continuous developments, we have released WorkforceTrack Beta v1.2.320 that came with new add-ons, changes and bugs being fixed :)

WorkforceTrack Beta released!

We have officially launched WorkforceTrack Beta. It came with a lot of major changes and improvements as well as enriched by new features that we hope many of you already found useful!

Most of changes affected system layout and usability within “My Workspace” sections, starting from menu options to individual items in each of these sections:
  • More optimized system navigation;
  • Better structured information presentation;
  • Quick help tips all around and other enhancements.

We have added new features and tools, namely:
  • Getting Started. Replaced former Setup Wizard to drastically simplify WorkforceTrack setup for your company);
  • Performance Appraisal. Employee appraisal and performance management tool integrated right within WorkforceTrack;
  • Dashboard. A different set of default and customisable summary reports and detailed reports on your workforce, tasks, projects, hours, clients and company.
